NEW YORK'S PRIOR POWER
You might think of a guy like Pedro Martinez, Ok, We'll take the first loss, but the next won't be near as good.. Not with the plan of this New York team, After Prior is Bud Smith, he's a top notch pitcher, and before Prior, Yes, It gets better. Josh Beckett, We are talking about a team of the near future. Belisile is another guy that will be there in the future, he is anchoring the rotation right now. But young pitching is not this team's only strength, Young hitting is another power bomb. Salazar,Cuddyer,Betemit, that's good....but its not the best, oh ok, Let's add in a few more guys, Phelps,Johnson,Escobar, Ensberg,Lombard,Phillips. Need any more? These were the top spects back in the 1st season, and one guy owns them all! I expect this team to win a great World Series very soon.

ML Insider's Top 5 Prospects
1. Mark Prior is a spectacular pitcher, and he will be for years to come, truly a dominating starter, He will shut down opposing hitters, Not a question to put him in the Number 1 spot in your rotation in another year... He Will Win a Cy Young soon, Hopefully. With a good offense, watch out, He's got great stuff.
2. Michael Cuddyer is quite a great player, Defensively this guy can cover some ground, but his bat is like a log, You can't pitch around him, What a spectacular guy to put in your lineup, He can leadoff, Hit in number 2 spot, or in the bottom of the order, He is a great guy to lead a team to a championship.
3. I love guys with speed and power, that is complete, and he plays Shortstop? I don't think he's quite the next Alex Rodriguez, but I see a little Derek Jeter in him, He will be a Number 2 Hitter, He deserves possibly 10 mil a year in the future. He can play Second Base, Third Base and Shortstop, the kind of guy you love to have up in the World Series 9th inning 2 outs.
4. Matt Bilisle, a guy in my mind, who shouldn't be in the majors as a starter quite yet, maybe as a reliever, One more year he'll be ready to anchor a rotation, but I think you are asking to much for that this year, and also, when you don't have the veterens to help you, only having young guys like Beckett,Prior, its hard to learn.
5. Brandon Phillips, Speed,Speed, Speed, I love it, he is gonna win many awards, Obsessions may be entered now, He is the protitipicle leadoff hitter of any ball club, Someone say Luis Castillo, with power? Ouch.. that hurts.
Where Have You Gone, Sean Burroughs?
Remember the guy named Sean Burroughs? One of the premiere prospects in 2001 and 2002, Well here he is, He is now playing for the Angels, He is their starting 3rd Basemen, and what a guy to have around in the ballpark he is. He has very good power, and strength, his defense is decent, this is the guy the Padres will regret dropping, or trading, Whatever they got, I gaurentee it wasn't worth it, Burroughs will be a guy like Adam Dunn, you tell yourself you can beat him, but he turns around your fastball, just like he can do to anyone else's. Key to Burroughs : Nail the Inside Half of the Plate, Do Not Go Away, That is his powerhouse cable.
